Hand-Washing your delicate Cashmere, Wool & Mohair
Fill a basin with warm water and add a cap of our Lona Scott Delicates Laundry Detergent while gently massaging the detergent into the fabric. Mix well and allow the garment to soak for a few minutes, then start to gently hand-wash it. Always remember lukewarm water, never hot (hot water can shrink the fibres). Once washed, softly shape the garment into a loose ball and press it against the side of the basin to remove all excess water. Avoid stretching, or twisting your garments as it can stretch the original shape of it.
Drying your Garments
Lay your cherished garments flat on a surface with high airflow. For the best result, avoid hanging cashmere & wool garments, laying it flat preserves its original silhouette. This drying method ensures your garment retains its shape.
Repairing your Cashmere
If over the years any small imperfections or holes appear, use our Darning Yarn and Cashmere Repair Kit to fix and give your delicates an even longer life. The Lona Scott Cashmere Care line is here to give functionality and longer lasting garments.
